In 1967, Freddie and Mary Williford purchased Dunn Rite Bakery and changed the name to Sherry’s Bakery. At that time there were only eight bar stools. Through the years, the bakery has undergone three expansions and has seating for approximately 100 people. The Williford’s have made quality a priority in their products and hope to provide a comfortable and friendly small town atmosphere.

Freddie and Mary worked together in the bakery for 47 years of their 61 year marriage until she passed away in 2014.  Freddie continued working until his passing in 2020.
